Crafted from Gunga, also known as Pandanus Palm, this intricately woven basket incorporates Balgurr, a type of Bush string. The creation of this basket involved a meticulous and unique coiling technique.

Gitjpulu Malibirr hails from Mapuru, a community situated 500 kilometers to the east of Darwin, within the northeastern region of Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. The Traditional Owners of this area are the Yolŋu people.
