Michelle Yeatman is well-known for her unique coil pots that feature intricate shapes and decorations inspired by seagrass patterns. She creates all her pieces by hand and without a pottery wheel. After firing, she paints on her pots and when they dry, she uses steel wool and scourers to create different textures in the colours. These are highly sort-after artworks originating from Yarrabah, Far North Queensland.
