The Design Files
Proud to be featured in Australia's most popular design blog.
The Design Files is a popular online editorial platform that covers real Australian homes, architecture, gardens, art, design, food and more. We were so excited to be interviewed by the team, and to have some photographs taken of the gallery during their visit!
The headline was very flattering, “The Trailblazing Couple Behind Brisbane’s New Indigenous Art Centre” and it provided an introduction to Troy and Amanda as Founders of the company.
“Over the last five years the entrepreneurial couple have pioneered businesses that exist to create opportunities for First Nations creatives, recognising the need for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices to be at the forefront of these projects, and making it happen. At the core of it all is an unwavering set of values and principles that guide each and every decision.
Located across the road from the Queensland Art Gallery, Aboriginal Art Co is Brisbane’s first Aboriginal-led Indigenous art gallery and store. We were lucky enough to catch up with Amanda to learn more about this exciting new space.”
The article went on to interview Amanda.
