Bubbles & Baubles Annual Fundraiser

Bubbles & Baubles: An Evening of Art, Celebration, and Giving

Join us for a magical night of festive cheer, creativity, and community as Aboriginal Art Co. hosts its inaugural Bauble Auction.

Celebrate the season in style at Town Square, Fish Lane, where holiday spirit meets artistic flair. Enjoy an evening of canapés, sparkling drinks, joyful connection, and the chance to take home a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted bauble by your favourite First Nations artist.

Last year, thanks to your incredible support, we raised almost $3,000, which directly funded this year’s programs, including two artist residencies, First Nations mentoring sessions, four exhibitions, 12 art tours, over 12 First Nations-facilitated workshops, six artist talks, and empowering initiatives that uplift First Nations artists and communities across Australia. The 2026 program promises to be even bigger and better, with exciting new developments on the horizon.

Last year, 20 Blak artists generously donated baubles for the auction, each creating a unique artwork to hang on your tree or treasure in your collection.

This year, we’re thrilled to once again showcase iconic First Nations artists like Judy Watson, Gordon Hookey, and Tony Albert—alongside a dynamic mix of exciting emerging and established talent. For many of us, owning a one-of-a-kind artwork by these celebrated artists is the dream. And this year, we’re turning up the heat—get ready for a bidding frenzy! Grab your ticket, and we’ll send you the link to jump in when the bidding kicks off on November 21st.

Let’s celebrate culture, creativity, and community together, and continue to support Aboriginal Art Co.—an Aboriginal-run and led not-for-profit arts organisation that exists to empower, promote, and ethically source and support First Nations art and artists—not only locally but nationally as well.

We look forward to seeing you there!
