Emu Egg Carving Workshop

Emu Egg Carving Workshop

This Easter, immerse yourself in a truly unique cultural experience! Join us for a hands-on emu egg carving workshop, led by the talented Kabi Kabi artist Maurice Mickelo. Unleash your creativity and craft a one-of-a-kind emu egg under expert guidance.

At Aboriginal Art Co, our workshops are designed to deepen your connection with the natural world. Through the art of emu egg carving, we honour the deep relationship between the emu, the land, and Aboriginal culture. In this workshop, you'll carve a personalised piece that reflects this unique art form, creating a striking artwork and treasured keepsake either for yourself or as a meaningful gift.

This workshop requires some hand strength, so it's open to participants aged 15 and over. All carving tools and materials will be provided to support you in creating your masterpiece, along with lunch to keep you energised throughout the day.

Don't miss out on this meaningful and enjoyable Easter activity – a perfect blend of creativity and culture!
