Mina Mina Jukurrpa (Mina Mina Dreaming) by Saraeva Napangardi Marshall
This painting depicts Mina Mina, an important ceremonial site for Napangardi and Napanangka women west of Yuendumu near Lake Mackay. The area includes salt lakes, soakages, sandhills, and desert oak country, and is central to Warlpiri women’s cultural knowledge and law.
The Mina Mina Jukurrpa tells of ancestral women who danced at the site, where digging sticks rose from the ground and became tools for their eastward journey. As they travelled, they created places, gathered bush foods, and shaped Country before eventually returning to Mina Mina.

Each Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander artist, art centre and business are unique and prices are negotiated and can vary.
Generally speaking, we take a 30% commission on sales to cover our overheads; it costs to have a prime location in a Brisbane metro area, professional staff, insurances, marketing and communications, administration and general expenses running a gallery and retail space.
