Sonia Pallett

The eldest of four children, Sonia Pallett was born and grew up on Wiradjuri Country, the land of the three rivers, Dubbo NSW. Her father was born and raised in Bourke, Ngemba Country.  She lives and creates on Yuwaalaraay Country and her Mob is Kooma which is near Cunnamulla, QLD.

Her path has not always been focussed on jewellery making and she's dabbled in other trades.  Her passion for working with sterling silver and semi-precious stones is now a strong focus.  Using quality and authentic materials that are durable is integral, but making the pieces accessible to everyone is equally as important.

She is proud to have created a collection of jewellery bringing her Ancestor's storytelling symbols into a modern light with non-traditional wearable art.  Sonia hopes to set a positive example for future generations, and is in awe of how far this space has progressed from humble beginnings.
